About PEOIQ

An independent PEO directory and research site for businesses with 5 to 500 employees. Free to use, and clear about how it is paid.

What PEOIQ is

PEOIQ is an independent website for US businesses with 5 to 500 employees that are deciding whether a PEO (professional employer organization) makes sense, and which one.

It has a directory of 200+ PEO providers, four free calculators (cost, ROI, savings and time savings), and a Learning Hub of articles on PEO costs, co-employment, compliance and comparisons. Everything on the site is free to use.

What PEOIQ is not

PEOIQ is not a PEO. We don't run payroll, provide benefits or become anyone's co-employer.

PEOIQ is not a brokerage either. When you ask for a consultation, it is run by an independent PEO broker, Richard Huldisch of The Huldisch Group. He is a separate business with 100+ placements over the last decade.

How PEOIQ is paid

The consultation is free to you. If you sign with a PEO through the broker, the PEO pays the broker, and he shares part of his fee with us.

No PEO provider pays PEOIQ, and no business pays PEOIQ anything.

How we treat providers

We don't rank providers, call one the best, or publish a named provider's pricing. The right PEO for a 12-person design studio in one state is often wrong for a 40-person contractor working in five.

Directory profiles describe what each provider offers, and comparison pages set two providers side by side.

Who writes the articles

Articles are researched and drafted by Philip, our AI research writer, and edited by Richard Huldisch. Every number links to a primary source such as NAPEO, the IRS, the Department of Labor or the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
